I would say if she can earn as much as $160 on her own, tell her you will match whatever she earns.
So if she only earns $40, you give her $40 and she has $80.
But if she earns $100, you match that and she will have $200.
That's what my friends parents did when she was saving for a car. |

The best gifts come from the heart. I made cards with simple poems I created for my family one year when I was about your age, and the one I made my nana was at her side on her nightstand when she died 2 years later. It lasted longer than some cheap trinket will. And it said much more. |

I would say $10 for the dog. The people you are talking about, would be depends on how important and how much you love them. For the person that I love the most and care the most and also a family memeber (not your girl/boy friend), would be like $35 (like your mom), and the second important person would be like $27 (maybe your dad, guys are easier to buy gift anyway). If rest of them are just like sibilings that are pretty much equal to you...Like about $17 per person. Of course you can spend more on the boyfriend like $20 (a bit more than your sibilings) to show that you love them, and then divide the rest into equal amount.
It really depends who you are buying those gifts for. |

divide that 160 into 7 people and a dog, that way you are spending a fair amount of money. gift cards are always awesome, and dog treats are only like 3 bucks. |

no more than ten dollars and maybe pick out one special person to spend no more than 15 on...it is the thought remember and noone in their right mind expects a lavish gift from a 14 yr old. She could make them ornaments or something also instead of purchasing....god bless her |

i m in the same situation. i spend about $20 per person & 10 per young child & $5 for the dog. usually, cuz of the $ prob., i make the gifts or have it b something simple but meaningful. 4 example, i make ornaments 4 my family & they luv it & its cheap & simple to make. i also make pic frames, cards on the cmputer, & jewelry. u can find simple but great things at craft stores easily. the ppls luv it & u save $. win-win! |

14 is a great age for her to make gifts, or give her time. No one expects a teenager to have money for nice presents. She can offer to babysit, wash cars, clean windows, etc. Or do some craft project if she's into that sort of thing -- she could burn personalized mix CD's if she's into music, or paint pottery, or just write a letter telling that person what they mean to her. She could give each person a framed photo of her and them together. Or she could bake cookies, dip pretzels in chocolate, or offer to help serve at someone's holiday party. |

$50 is enough to make a family happy to buy spaghetti, balloons and chocolate cake to last for a day or two.
Hope this is the right amount for you to consider.
Have a nice day and GOD BLESS US ALL.
Merry Christmas in advance!!!!! |

You shouldn't feel obligated at your age to buy for everyone, certainly no one should expect a gift from you. But, try making gifts for everyone, that can be done very inexpensively. Otherwise I would try to keep it between $5 and $10 per person, if you have that kind of money. Basically just figure out how much you can spend and stick to that limit. |

Instead of worrying about an amount per person, why not try your hand at someting you can do for all? Last year, we made homemade truffles for everyone and purchased candy boxes and everything. We did this for about ten people and the total cost was around $60. We found this works for pretty much everyone (Besides the dog, obviously) and is a nice personal touch on a budget. |

I'd say stay under $10 for sure, $5 if you can. Prioritize based on level of importance and be creative. Your mom might appreciate something you make more while your brother might want something he can play with (maybe a game, some athletic equipment. If you write back with details about who these people are, we can probably help out more. |
