If you don't have good relations with them, they can later take your invested money and run, or run anyway.
So build good time and relations with them at the expense of some of your paycheck, I know money is very important, but there are things more important than money. I am proud we have people asking these questions to see whether they can be better.
Depending on whether they're old enough to understand, talk to your kids and explain to them why you're not home. |

On days when you aren't working, spend time with your children. You certainly can't work seven days a week. You don't have to spend a lot of money with or on your children- just time. They will remember the time spent especially if you are in a good mood. |

Providing for a family is tough. I'm doing it, too. But like Dave Ramsey says, "Live like no one else so you can live like no one else." It's acceptable to work like a dog when you have a mission like working and going to school at the same time to get a better paying job. You'll miss the kids even more for a while but you're working toward a better future. In that future, you can earn more working less and have more time for family. Good luck. |

there is nothing more important in your life than being with your children. they will not remember a hungry stomache once in a while but they will recall not having a dad around. that is the reason you had kids. to help them grow and become somewhat better than we were. your not a bad dad but remember the kids want and need you more than anything else.. |

You're doing the best you can. Explain to your kids why you work such long hours, and that you're doing it for them. Tell them how much you love them and how much you wish you could spend more time with them. When they get older, they will appreciate how hard you tried, and will be happy knowing you loved them even when you weren't with them. |

used on education. Learn how to go salmon fishing. You need
