Real estate is a risky business and so is the lumber business.
New environmental laws will restrict the amount of land sold, bought and use for logging.
Real estate both residential and commercial buying, selling and building is on the slide and will take at least ten years to make a comeback.
Don't count his money as yours as it is not and don't count on his income forever as the economy will be getting much worse before it gets better. |

There are a lot of rich people with poor characters. Often such people focus on what they have rather than focussing on what they can develop within themselves whether that be academically, socially or otherwise. |

Rich isn't how much a person earns as it is how much they spend and owe. Unless your Dad has assets and money saved and no debt, the richness is a poor person with a great income. |

You're dad could be considered rich. I'd say "well to do". You are not rich, but if you want to be, I'd be listening to your dad.
I'm not rich, I deliver pizza and make 22k a year. But I'm happy. That's the real question, are you happy? Is your dad happy? |

Basically... he is rich, not you but you are able to reap the benefits. But I would say anyone making less than $400,000 a year is only middle class... maybe upper middle class... but still... not rich. |

Before my Dad died, he made 120K a year and everyone seemed to think he was the Richest guy in the state. So, Im sure the popular idea is that your family is indeed "Rich". |

Yep, CEO's are one of the highest paid people so yep your daddy is rich or will be and if he decided to share his money with you then yea u can be rich too. Hope your daddy is nice enough to pay for your college education, wedding and those type of expenses cuz those are the ones that end up getting us into major debt early on. Lucky you!! |
