yup, I'm sick of being skint, I always have to save for things and juggle the bills, sometimes paying them at the last minute as we dont have the money to pay the in advance |

yup. i'm a lone parent. i have to juggle with work and picking up times. i go to bed thinking of how i'm gonna streach the money this week. if the school decides to have a fair or a sponsored something (free education my eye!) it means i have to cut back on something. i find myself limiting my gas and electric use to conserve every penny i can. haven't been on holiday since my son was born. this year my mum is paying for us to got on holiday with her which though it is a nice guesture is also quite humilating! |

I work at my own hotel, so working makes me sick...I never have time for myself and I am regretting taking on the business, I'm so young aswell never have time to go out. twenty quid will do me good anytime so just spend it intelligently and dont dwell on the bad...get another job so it all adds up ok? Harder said than done i know... |

I'm definitely feeling the pinch this month !!!!
It's so depressing that whatever money comes in goes straight back out again !!!
If the gas & electricity prices keep going up i'll have more going out than coming in !!!! |

Me too, I am that skint I recently put a visa cheque into my account to pay my mortgage.I think most people are like us.Theres always programs on television about debt and being short of money.I keep telling myself I'm not going to be like this forever.I think if I had a friend like yours I would feel sick too.But her life sounds like nothing to be proud about. |

Same here. Work out incomings/outgoings and try and pay monthly rather than quarterly. Get rid of any prepayment metres (gas/electricity), if possible and have ordinary meters fitted. Make sure heating is not on all the time (bedrooms not necessary in daytime), and not over 22C. Make own meals, not ready meals. Buy cheap range/basics from supermarkets.
The ones who 'always have money' are probably in debt somewhere-and rob Peter to pay Paul. Or perhaps they have generous relatives. |

It's all down to budgeting - and what your partner spends it on before he or she gets home.
If you're really worse off than someone on benefits, check whether you're entitled to family income supplement. Your local Citizens Advice Bureau will do the sums for you. |

Hi, the video on our website has people exactly like yourself and they explain how they got out of the situation.
We have a saying 'Being skint is not mandatory, only an option'.
I'll let the video explain itself and hope it helps.

Well maybe if you didn't love food so much you wouldn't blow all your money on pies and Pringles and Pot Noodles. |
