you can only be rich or poor relative to the place you are in. For example, i would be rich in Nigeria but poor in London.

i'm comfortable. my kids and i don't want or need for anything. we have a roof over our heads, food on the table and clothes on our backs. i don't want to be rich. too much stress and pressure. i've been poor. don't want to do that again.

btw, only braggards brag about what they have (or in your case, don't have). no one likes a braggard.

Rich how? Financially? Spiritually? Emotionally? If financially, what do you consider rich? I hope you handle your new found richness well. So many people do not.

I'm 16, but my mom is kinda in the middle. she makes an OK salary, she's a public school teacher. it gets us by, and then some. we used to have a lot of money when my dad was with us, but then he became an alcoholic and now he has no license and is homeless/in a shelter almost coming out/graduating. so we're better off than him. theres people i know that have more money, and theres sacrifices we have to make. but yeah. my mom was without a job for 2 years because in college for being a teacher while she was interning she was unable to have a job while working/interviewing all day (for free) so yeah.

I am poor, but my tenant upstairs thinks I'm rich. It is a relative term. All his rent and some besides goes into the mortgage payment.
