Yes. If you have collateral, you take out a loan with a bank. Also, you can secure a credit card and establish a history.

Aditionally, there are several government back loans, managed by Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac that can be applied for mortgates (or FHA or GI Bill). There are also student loans that can be taken out for studies. You really have to be more specific. It seems that you don't know anything at all about finance...I would recommend you learn a lot more before you start taking out loans. Read up on it first.

yes... but don't go there, unless you like the idea of paying 100% or more interest. "provedent" are a high interest loan company, OK for a dire emergency though.

Yes, there are some ... but they charge a lot of money.

If you have no credit history, but you have a job ... just apply for a few.

Also, read the link below ...

If you have a regular pay check, have been on the job for 6 months or more, you can get a small loan from, say, Household Finance..don't count on more than 300-500. Make regular payments, ON TIME, each month. Even if you do not need the money! Borrow and put it in the bank. This will begin to establish credit. OR, purchase an inexpensive car, make regular payments ON TIME, etc. Notice, I say ON TIME each time...very important in the credit business! Take very good care of your credit...treasure it, there will come a time when it will pay you back big time.

There is an organization called Cosa Nostra. Although if you fail to pay them back, they send VITO and LUIGI to find you and break your legs.

join a local credit union. they may approve you for a very small loan, and work up in increments. but it will help to establish your credit without the need of a co-signer. also, credit unions have smaller fees, lower interest rates, etc. check it out, and i'm sure you'll be able to get a loan, even a small one, to start out with.

crazycanuck7901
There probably are. Talk to your loan officer at your bank.

Yes, you will, however, need a collateral or a co-signer. I'd recommend you go to a credit union to apply for the loan: credit unions actually cost less in terms of loan costs. Cheers!

What I have seen is that people apply for a credit card but they leave money on their bank account as collateral, after a year of punctual payments the collateral is realeased and you have your credit card without collateral. This way you begin building your credit history.

By the time you pay your first three months of your credit card, you will be receiving calls and mail offering you lots of credit products to pick from. Try it.

Bank of America is a good place to start, they have a partially collaterized credit card for people without credit history.

Good luck.
