I like to keep enough saved to live on for 6 months in case of emergency. Other than that I like to save enough money to pay cash for the goodies I want instead of the immediate gratification of using a credit car.

A bit of a saver but I hate to say it....I like my toys. Working hard to switch it around though. I save from every paycheck but not enough.

I am a saver but my hubby is a spender. So I can only save up "squirrel money" (money I squirrel away without his knowledge--not large sums.) It drives me crazy not being able to save, as I have been a saver since I got my first dollar bill as a child.

I'm a little of both. I put 10% into stock plan, 5 % into 401, I put a little into savings then spend whatever is left over instead of saving the rest!

blackfootlady
sorry for not answering sooner--husband was admitted to hospital this morning---I am both--depends on what I need to buy or what I am saving for.
