Bank of America, is it a good institution or do you prefer another?
I am thinking of switching to B of A because I like the "keep the change" savings incentive they offer. But I don't want to switch if they don't have good customer service and convenience.
I have bank of america and its great..the trick is that they have a variety of different accounts and you have to choose the one that is right for you...if you have the wrong type of account you could get stuck...i have a college student account now but i used to have an account that you HAD to have direct deposit or it charged you 5 dollars a month

I have had problems in the past with them losing my money and also funds not being deposited when I deposit them ...I also know a lot of people and also some friends of mine that have had problems also with them.... so I wish you the best of luck if you choose them with your banking ....

I have had BoA for years and overall they have been pretty good. BUT I hate that they nickel and dime you for every little thing. Most banks are probably like that though.

I live in Canada..but maintain banking facilities in the US. I have dealt with Bank of America since 2000, and never had a problem.

I personally have had bad experiences with BoA with their customer service. However, I do maintain a small account just because they branches and ATM's all over the place. I wouldn't switch just for the "keep the change" gimmick which really isn't that big of a deal. Also their interest rates are quite low even compared to other brick and mortar banks.
