Bank of America website choked? (can't get to "sign in" page)?

Is something wrong with bankofamerica.com website, or is it just overloaded? If I try to go to any "sign in" page IE 7.0 gives a generic error that it cannot load the page (no help at all). If I try with Firefox it just says any "sign in" link was reset while loading and does not display anything beyond that.

It is disconcerting when a major bank's website is broken.

It is working now. Thanks for letting us know we were all in the same boat.

I haven't been able to log in for hours...still can't. At least it's not just me.

UPDATE: I just called. The rep told me that parts of their system are going through an "update" and that we should try back in a few hours.

maybe they're doing site renovation perhaps. or probably their servers are down. but that is not good service quality, now is it?

I am in South Carolina and have not been able to log on all day. In 20 years I never had a sign in problem! Who can verify and confirm the problem?

I've had the same problem since last night! Now I can get the home page but when I try to use one of the functions such as bill pay or account balances, it crashes and then will not reload.

Not working for me either; I tried both the desktop and the laptop. Thanks for the info. would be nice though if they put something on their home page for when/if it loads occasionally.
