I work for a bank and we've often sent letter out to those other creditors that it was our mistake and we paid any fee's that were incurred by the customer. You might want to do this seeing as though it was of no fault of your own. |

Go INTO the bank and sit there and talk to someone until it is totally resolved....you should have proof of the money order (a little ticket or stub that came with it) --- and they should be able to help with that. Tell them what a mess it made for you and RAISE YOUR VOICE if you have to -- they do NOT want other customers in the bank hearing anyone upset over their practices. I feel your pain though.....I'm sorry you're going through this. It's too freakin hard enough to make it anymore WITHOUT stupid crap like that happening....... |

I would call the bank and talk to them. Or what i do is call a family memeber who does taxes and that stuff and have them help settle it. |

If you go to the branch that you opened your account at, sometimes they will be a lot more helpful and willing to help. |

Go into the branch and do not leave until they fix it! that is pathetic. tell them you will make it known the mess ups they have caused. this should be fixed immediately!
in the past i've never had anything they didn't fix if i am at the bank showing my frustrations.
good luck |

Switch banks, and I stopped doing automatic payments, it just lets them take money when ever they want... and then you get charged for it, I know... I am in the same boat.
So when you switch banks, tell them that there are to be no automatic payments without prior authorization. |

There isn't much you can do. The banks pretty much own you. |

Get all your information, receipts, etc together
Go to main office
ask for manager
Explain situation
If you have all the proof, they can't argue with you.
If not....
Keep better paperwork next time......
Or
Switch banks..... |
