As far a me personally,
I had cancer in 1996 and I didn't work for almost a year. We went through all our savings and borrowed money as well as ran up huge credit card debt.
As of July 1, 2006 we are debt free except for the original mortgage on the house(which we are accelerating the payments) and $312,766.43 spread thoughout 15 different accounts. Every month I do a full reckoning to track the investments and the asset allocation. |
