Sure it can. It can't necessarily make you happy but its probably the next best thing. For me its not the all the stuff you can buy but its the time you have to do what you want and to experience life. Not having to work all day and not being consumed by what you don't have is an enormously liberating experience. Having the opportunity to really live and explore life with no limitations, its great. |

Being rich can give a person certain "material possessions"; however, it can't always give them happiness. Sure if a person had a ton of money they could purchase a nice car, buy a big house, but material items don't necessarily provide fulfillment or happiness. Without happiness, those items mean nothing inside. Having money may make life easier, but often sadder. |

I think that it can make life easier in some ways because you wouldn't have to worry about paying bills, but then it also means having more responsibility (higher taxes, etc.). I guess it depends on your priorities, because there are some poor people who are happy and some rich people who are miserable. |

There is a point where money will make your life better: if you don't have enough to eat, somewhere decent to live or enough money to pay your bills then being richer will help.
Beyond that being rich isolates people - it makes people think too much about their money and less about the important things in life. Being rich makes men worry about gold diggers, and security and investments. |

It can make life better if you are a happy person. Unfortunately, most of the people I know that have a lot of money are very unhappy people. I think it is because they worry about their money all the time. And they are stressed out all the time.
I for one like to live a simple life. I don't spend all my time at work or stressing out every day. I work my 40 hours a week and enjoy my free time. I spend money only on what I need.

Being rich would make your life a lot easier since you can buy a maid or lawn care or a personal secretary. Being rich will enable you to help others but you will always be a target for scams. Your "friends" may only like you because of your wealth. Being rich will certainly change your troubles. |
