Benefit fraud!!??to shop or not to shop?
is there anyone who you know is commiting benefit fraud?

have you shopped anyone yet?

if you'd like to here is a link https://secure.dwp.gov.uk/benefitfraud/

Lestat
I have only ever 'shopped' employers for tax evasion

spook542
Yeah shop the lazy workshy buggers. Why should we keep on paying tax to support these people. When they get found guilty they should be made to pay the whole lot back and be banned from claiming any sort of benefit for life.

"Benefit fraud doesn't hurt anyone" - Oh yes it does. Every pound claimed faudulently is a pound more tax to be collected from the Great British public or a pound less to pay to a real deserving case.

People commiting benefit fraud are stealing money (benefits they are not entitled to) from all tax payers in their country!

If they can work - they should not be claiming benefits!
Don't listen to anyone who says there is no work around, my husband's work shut down without notice,2 years ago, he'd worked there since he left school - he managed to get work the next day with another company.

No one in my family has ever claimed benefits - going right back to my grandparents.

Roll on the new law where any individual claiming benefits, and is fit, is made to do voluntary work or their benefit is stopped!

They give the people who need and deserve benefits a bad name as well. So shop them all!

Buddha
Yes I do know someone and I fully intend to shop them.

It is people like Dion who help benefit fraudsters get away with it by their inactivity. "Does not hurt anyone"????? Of course they do, they are stealing from everyone who goes out to work every day and pays tax every payday! On an annual basis the amounts of money involved are staggering. If you are a worker and know of a benefits fraudster - shop them - why should YOU work to help keep them sitting on their lazy backsides?

bazspur3
yes i do, but i will not inform on them. how about all the corrupt city workers and politicians who get off scot free after embezelling millions. we all love to kick people lower down.

Use Google it's not hard

How do you know your facts are even true?

You sound like a trouble-maker to me. I say this as someone falsely accused me and therefore wasted a lot of DSS time and money investigating.

Baz
Most people who are benefits, are better off on benefits than they are working, so why should they want commit benefit fraud I don't know, it's the people that are on denefits, but don't have a lot of money to live on that have to do the fraud,if the govemment gave them enough money to live on ,they wouldn't have to fraud.

There are much more serious crimes in the world than benefit fraud. Benefit fraud doesn’t actually hurt anyone, like being burgled, stabbed or shot. The government should have good controls in place, but don’t spend huge resources trying to catch people getting a small financial benefit.
