Yes, you can use a credit card too if your not the main account holder and just an authorized user. My mom put me on hers when I was 15. |

You can do anything you set out to do if you don't worry about being declined. In life, sometimes the same people will tell you no, keep asking and eventially, you will get the deal and be on your way to the bank to cash your check. believe me I do it every day life is good even when they say no. the next time you'll get a yes.Just do what is right and you cant go wrong. Yes you can make purchases, if you are responsible with you money, make sure that you have enough money on your card. Just check your account on a daily basis, read your monthly statements very well. You should be fine if you follow these steps. |

Yes they can I am 17 and i use my atm card anywhere and everywhere lol. All u need to know is the PIN for it and your good to go. |

Legally no...a 17 year old cannot enter into a legal contract. Having a card with a Visa/MasterCard logo constitutes entering into a legal contract...
That being said...if you already have the card you are not breaking the law by using it...it will not be declined unless you do not have enough funds. Some banks find a way around the legality's of giving a minor a debit card, that is their problem, not yours. |

When you go for any purchase no one is going to ask your age nor you have to show your birth certificate, so go & njoy the shopping.

If your able to us the atm with it. I think you should be okay!! It's your money and as long as you have your drivers license with you everythings fine. I just wouldn't go debit card crazy, because when I first used mine. I went off and spent my money like water and lost track of how fast money goes. All I have to say is spend wisely and save like crazy not spend!!!!! |
