Do supermarkets such as somerfield and tesco allow you to pay for something by splitting it onto your bank card and then paying the rest in cash? I was informed Asda did this, but I'm more interested in either Somerfield or Tesco. Any help appreciated! |

Most places will let you do this, but you need to let them know you are splitting the payment. Usually you can say you want to put x on the card and pay the balance in cash. |

Yes you can, it's called a split transaction...usually they will take the cash first and then just put the rest on your card...no problem at all!!! |

I thought every where did it. I've never been turned down in a shop. I can't remember what shops i've paid this way, but i have done it alot and i shop at tesco so i'm sure it's fine. |
