I do not know about a debit card however when my cousin was five a credit card company sent her a credit card in error that was in her name..(This was back in the late 80's when credit card companies would send the actual card in the mail unsolicited) |

You have 3 choices that both involve your parents.
1. Get a custodial savings account. You will receive an ATM card that will let you make 4 withdrawls/debits / month. (debits if your parents approve the debit card ).
2. Get a checking account. Again your parents will have to have their name first on the account. You will also receive and ATM/debit card and possibily a visa card - if your parents agree.
3. Get your parents to open up a visa credit card and make you an authorized user. You will be responsible for not charging anything you don't have money for, since making minimum payments will destroy your credit history. Pay in full each month.

Why do so many people answer questions when they don't know!!!
Yes of course you can. It is a solo card.
My daughter with her Natwest Adapt account has one. She has a pin number and many shops accept the Solo card.
My daughter is 13. |

Minors cannot legally sign contracts, open bank accounts, get credit or debit cards, and many other things. Your parents and you can open a "student account" or trustee account (Parent Name in trust for/as trustee for Child Name). You will all need to go to the bank in person with proper photo identification and Social Security cards.
Your parents determine whether you get a savings account and/or checking account, whether you can have an ATM card (savings) or debit card (checking) and what your limits are. After you turn 18, you can convert the account to a regular adult bank account in your name.
If you get an ATM card, you can only use it at ATM machines to withdraw cash from your checking or savings account.
If you get a debit card, you may withdraw cash from your checking account at an ATM machine. If it has either a MasterCard or Visa logo, use it at many stores as well as ATM machines. The debit card instantly transfers the amount of your purchase from your checking account to the store's account. You do not have any credit with a debit card! You can only spend what you already have deposited in the bank. No interest charges, no fees, etc, unlike the credit card. |

They do at Chase. It's called the High School Checking account.
It has the same benefits of a Real Checking account.

Yes! It depends on the bank, but as a minor you can have an account in your own name provided that an adult is a co-owner. This entitles you to a debit card on that account as well. |

Yes you can get a debit card when you are 11. All you need to do is go into the bank that you have your account in and ask for a meeting to set up a debit card.
p.s you cant get a credit card until you are older |

Absolutely. You can go to google and type in Western Union prepaid mastercard or visa card. This can be used as both a debit card at ATM's or a credit card to participate in online shopping or whereever mastercard/visa are accepted and you have to be at least 15 years old to sign up. It won't be tied to your bank account and you will have to load money onto it, but it will be accepted everywhere that visa's or mastercard's are accepted depending on which one you sign up for. Hope this helps! |

It probably would depend on the bank and type of account you set up with your parents. |

Only if the issuer of the card is willing to do business with someone it cannot legally contract with.
There is probably just a Bank Card, because there are minors with impressive bank accounts. |
