Can anyone please tell me how much i would be making if....?
I was paid minimum wage ($7.15?)..with taxes taken out and everything. What would my check be if i worked 15hrs a week. Thank you!

It depends on the amount of deductions you claim. If you claim a lot of deductions your check will be more but you may end up owing money at tax time. If you claim zero deductions your check will be less per week but you will more than likely get a tax refund check. I usually figure about 20% so here is the math: 7.15 x 15 = $107.25 - 21.45 (which is 20%)= $85.80. Again this is an estimate as it would vary depending on your deductions.

I subtract 25% for taxes & it's very close to the actual check.
7.15 x 15 = 107.25
107.25 - 25% = 80.43
or your hourly take home would be
5.36

prolly around $70-$80bucks

7.15 times 15 hours per week would be $107.25. They'll take out 8.20 for social security and medicare. There might also be withholding for income taxes, but that depends on your personal status and what you put on your W-4, so can't tell you that.

Around $75, depending on where you live. State taxes and local taxes can apply.

If you are single and not claimed as a dependent by someone else, and assuming you don't have any other sources of taxable income, you'll earn about $5577 gross earnings a year. You'd probably not owe any Federal Income tax but you'd pay FICA and Medicare costs.. perhaps a state or local tax if applicable. Not including the state or local income taxes, you'd take home about $100 a week, rough estimate.

depends = if you are under 18 you can make up to 1600 (under kitty tax fule) so really all you should have is ss and state tax and i would think you would not have to pay state taxs -- so on your w-4 put zero for decutions and you should bring hom about $95.34!!!=

Depends where you live and how much state tax they take out. Are you paid weekly? Biweekly?

If you were paid weekly: $107.25 (w/out taxes taken out)

If you were paid biweekly: $214.50 (w/out taxes taken out)

I don't know how much tax your having them take out. It depends on the forms you fill out, what you're claiming to be, and where you live depends on how much taxes are taken out of your pay check each pay period.

Sorry I couldn't be of any more help. Need more details.

id say around 80$ a week. BUT you should be able to the the rest (25$) at tax time

Jason W
It actually depends on what exemtpions you check when you file your 1099. Generally, the rate of taxes deducted from a paycheck will be between 15% and 30%. In your case, with limited exemptions, your gross salary would be about 108/week, making your net salary about 90/week.

With social security taxes taken out, you would be making about $101 a week. You would not be having state and federal taxes taken out with such limited hours and hourly wage.
