As long as you have a deposit slip for that account, then you can deposit it into any account that you would like. Because the account is not yours, then you may not be able to get money back on it. They could hold it for up to 10 business days.

As long as you sign the back of the cheque you can have someone else deposit it in their account but it depends on the way the cheque has been crossed by the persons who made it out. However, as long as they have a paying in slip it normally goes through. I've often cashed cheques for my son and daughter |

No you can't. The cheque needs to be credited to your accoun or cash by your personally with your ID as proof. |

if the check is addressed to you, upon signing the back of it, it becomes a bearer instrument and the bearer can do what he/she wants. It has to be signed with your name. |

Cheques are printed with 'account payee only' these days that means only the person written on front as payee can pay it in. This is in Uk |
