since your a minor i think you can cash it like on his account, meaning you don't have to pay to cash it. If you go in with your dad and your identification stuff. |

to cash your check for you-
provided you sign it first.
Then all he will need to do is sign
his signature under your name,
and then take it to his bank,
and cash it for you.
Or he can sign it under your name,
deposit it in his account,
and then withdraw the cash separately. |

Some will, if you sign the back of the check.
Some might want you to be there with your dad.

All the answers were good ones. If your dad is a well known customer, he can sign your name, put "minor" in parenthesis and then sign his name under yours. Then he can cash it or deposit it and immediately withdrawal cash. |
