if the money in the bank is "questionable" then the assets are frozen and you have to goto court to get them back.
If one is involved in the distribution of lets say drugs, then the persons bank accounts are likely to be frozen as the state will make a case that the funds (if you have no other source of documented income) are of illicit activity. |

They can freeze your account (not allow you to access the money) before you're convicted, but they can't take the money without a court order. |

if the courts grant them an order that says they can, yes they can.
it depends if the reason the money is in the bank account is related to the trial they have notyet been found guilty at.
if the court decides the money was the proceeds of crime, or obtained immorally (for example, through the provision of prostitutes) then they can order the money to be confiscated even though there has been no criminal conviction. |

No police can get your bank records but they can't take money. A judge could order that money be taken from your bank to pay a fine. |

The Police cannot touch your bank account, it would take a court order before anyone could gain access to take money out, without your agreement. |

They freeze all your accounts (you can't access it), but no, they can't take the money without someone being found guilyt/court order. |

Would need more info...but if someone is found not guilty thats just the same as the old lady round the corner who has never been in court...and they can't take money out of her account...Nobody can unless it was set up fraudulently and then that would need to be proven.. |
