Good on you, what a sensible person you are. Most places won't employ anyone under 16 due to insurance etc. I suggest you get your parents to help you seek some sort of work for pocket money. They may even ask you to help round the house in exchange for an increase in pocket money seeing as you are being very grown up about it. Good luck honey.xxx |

Paper route, babysitter, dog-sitting/walking. That would about be it. Maybe light duty housework or some yardwork for neighbors.
You are pretty much not going to be able to be hired by a company, but only by an individual who will pay you cash. Stick with things you can do close to home (in other words - walk to work).
You would be surprised at how many moms will gladly hire a teen to come in and do housework or watch the kids while they are at home. I know I would have been thrilled to have a teen come in and do laundry and help me do housework on the weekends.
Also, if you have a neighbor that sells on ebay, they may pay you to help them take photos or package up items to ship. Lots of possibilities there. |

You could offer to do odd jobs for neighbours, such as pulling weeds, or trimming the grass, or you could get a paper round. You could do dog walking, but be prepared to do pooper scooper detail.
Also, only do jobs for people you are acquainted with, and always make sure your parents know what and who you are doing the jobs for. |

cut grass, help a neighbor clean his/her garage or house, just about anything where you can help someone just to get a few bucks here and there |

I don't know where you live, but you could de-tassel corn. It involves getting up very early to walk up and down rows of corn and removing the tassels. It is hard work but pays well. You might also be able to harvest strawberries or work at a fruit stand. Good luck and take care.... |

there are some but I'm just suggesting you should put flyer's up and get a babysitting job , its the best bet and if you pick the right people to be the babysitter for you will get good money!

You can work as a paperboy or you can work on a milk round but I think the law limits you to only so many hours per week. I'm not really sure just how many hours you can work for though. |

probably not in most work places. maybe set up a babysitting business, a pet washing business, or something that you could do on your own. maybe clean up more around the house and your parents might be happy to give you a little more money. most big work places won't hire a 13 year old. |

I don't think you can. I am sure you have to be 14 to get a paper round. |
