I am so depressed and stressed. My good credit has flatlined in the past couple months when my hubby lost his job. after 5 months he gets one and it's a 1/3 pay of the one he had. Bills are 3 or 4 months past due. OUr house is foreclosing soon.... we are trying to sell it and have had no luck in 5 months.
I have 6 year old and a newborn and i feel bad that i can't buy them anything. My father in law is handing us money left and right just to buy diapers and pay bills.
I can't decide whether to take a better job. I can't get off work in time to go write a bad check to pay the utilities or they will get cut off. today is the last day.
i can think of more things. but i just want to quit my job today and go home. I hate it here but i have good insurance and pay so i can't leave. I have a family.

And if you don't know what you want, then grab BOTH @SS cheeks and ride like the wind, until you got blisters. you could try to get a loan from citi financial to pay off some of your credit cards and pay some of your bills.Or try debt consolidation.You can always reestablish your credit again. I would worry about your main bills like a roof over your head that is most important. There is also agencies that will help you pay some bills and help with food.You can always repay them later. Don't quit your job without having another you will be worse off. Remember you have children that love and need you and your husband needs you too.Things will look better soon it just takes time to get out of your slump.And thank goodness you have a family that will help you too. |

I've done it all!
Ended up selling off family keepsakes for a fraction of their value. After a year+ of this I finally got a new job. It's been 3 years and I am still trying to rebuild my once pristine credit.
Just keep fighting. I asked God for help and from that day on things started getting better. I don't know if this will help you but I had been thanking God for what I had all along.
You must never give up, especially for your children. |

Many people are going through this stage right now. The questions would be: How do you manage your funds? Check out things you regularly buy that may actually be unnecessary, and see where you can put that money to.
One of the biggest mistakes people would do is use debt to cover another debt; doing so would only dig your hole deeper.
If possible, pls ask advice from someone nearby who you can define as "successful/rich" regarding money management, because their knowledge on those things are what make them more secure than others, or someone might be able to follow up this answer right here.
Btw, try not to rely on your job too much. |

Okay grrrl you and your hubby have got to put it together SUPPORT each other now I don't mean it in a bad way but don't you think if your asking for someone to cheer you up you might have lack of support/communication with your hubby? Iam not trying to put you down that is the last thing I want to do what iam doing is beign honest. YOU WILL OVER COME THIS YOU ARE STRONG!! Have faith in god because he is the only reason you are and will overcome this you children where not born in vain....god gave them to you because he knows you and your hubby are strong and if they would had other parents they probably would have ended in the streets. The good thing is you know your broke and you recognize and you know both your hubby and you have a problem and that' good but it could be much much much more worse..and that guy is right enjoy you lil ones while you can, Another thing ask yourself why are you so delayed with bills not just because your husband is not working but alot of times we make the mistake of splurgin money on things we don't need: cable, yearmodel cars, unnecessary overexagerrated high on minutes cell plans, designer clothes, toys, redecoration for home, electronics, iam not saying it's a bad thing but if you could just look at those things maybe by cutting down you'd have enough ...why not sell things on craigslist.com to have some kind of money things you dont need. You will get through this ..you will I don't know you but I know you will just have faith and patience and what your fatherin law is doing is a blessing not many people would do that. Another question if your hubby didn't lose his job for health conditions why doesnt he look for one tell him to wake up as early as possible and go job hunting... holiday season is coming and alot of businesses are seeking for employees even if its just a minimum wage job as long as he does something...and please be patient with the kids alot of times people end up taking it out on the quiet ones ..it's not their fault. I hope I helped and I didn't mean to offend you in any way okay? Just believe in yourself and remember than when you gave birth to your 2 beautiful children god made it hurt so that you can become stronger and now is your chance to shine and be the brave woman you have become. |
