At 13, you can't go out and get a part time job at places like McDonald's... you have to find people who will pay you cash for things like .. babysitting, doing yardwork, cleaning houses for people... walking dogs...
Sorry to say that... but I can't think of anything else.
Any money you do get/find... save it. |

The only thing I can think of is try your local roller-skating rink, they usually hire pretty young to do the skate counter or the snack bar. I used to work at one and they hired people at the age of 14. |

No you can't get a job when your that young, unless you are working for someone in your family. You have to atleast be 16. There might be some places that might let you work, but not that I know of. Hope I could help. |

Well sweetie, raising $3000.00 by May is probably not going to happen, most adults could not raise that money that quickly. I will suggest that you do a paper route, offer to clean off cars if you live in an area with snow. clean cars, shovel driveways, cut grass.. Walk dogs. There are many things you can do and it is all tax free. |

well to begin, you should start mowing lawns during the spring and summer, rake leaves in the winter, and/or shovel snow out of peoples driveway. you may only get about maybe 25 dollars a yard you mow depending on the size of the yard and about the same amount for raking leaves, but depending on the amount of leaves, and ask for about 12 dollars for a 1 lane driveway and 25 for a two land driveway. but i doubt that you will be able to get a job when your 13 unless you know someone in your family that is a manager and you could work for minimal wage for him/her or something like that. Sonic and McDonalds only hire, at the youngest, at the age of 15 so if you don't like lawn mowing then you might have to wait about 2-3 years. |
