start with your own bank. other companies claim to be able to help, but by the time they take your details and process them, they usually all come back with the same story, sorry but we cannot help you at the minute. they pass your details on and you will have loads of people phoning but they cant even help you. every unsuccessful application makes your credit worse.
also if the bank can help, their interest is usually is lot lower. |

One piece of advice....
DO NOT BORROW !!!
Work it out in other ways, make minimum payments on things and figure out how to save money (Sell the telly, downsize the car, eat ASDA cheapest food). Borrowing more money is NOT a way of getting out of debt... it's just a simple way of getting another £5000 INTO debt. No one will lend you money for the benefit of thier health, they all ONLY do it to take money off you. |

First check with your banks and other reparable lending companies. Asking a question like this is leaving a opportunity's to be scammed. There are some smooth talkers out there. |

The problem you have is the bad credit side.
Generally, when you are in this type of situation, your bank will be the last person that will help you.
You would have to look at a loan broker like Yes, they charge you a fee for finding the loan for you.
I have some clients in a similar position to yourself - they were quoted a whopping 50% apr for their loan.
My advice would be: Only do this if it is ESSENTIAL, because sometimes you can find yourself in a worse position that before.

Welcome finance im sure will give you a loan but you must remember with companies like these you will pay back a ridiculious amount compared with what you borrowed
Stay away from Brokers as these will ask for an upfront fee of usually £50 which in most cases you will never see again.
Also try Tenants Loans they help people with bad credit |

£5,000 is not a lot of moey these days, and if it wasn`t enough you` would be back where you started, ask for more,
say 10 or £12,000 that would give you the confidence for a new beginning,don`t worry about getting a job, you never know something might turn up. |

you dont need a loan you need sound financial advise, i suggest you go to your bank and ask them for advice. Loan companies prey on people in your situation with big promises of easy way outs. Believe me if you dont you will be in big trouble in the near future.
Another loan is not the answer.
