This year for me not everyone is getting a gift. And my family understands that. My nephews are getting one toy each from me. Nothing to expensive. Everyone else maybe a gift card somewhere. But no more than $50. Feel bad about it, but times are hard rightnow. |

Anywhere from $10 for friends, to $25 for family that I don't see at least once a month, to $50 for very close relatives and children.
($25 is normally a family gift; like something I know they want or need as a family or a gift card to a place they like to shop or eat at) |

Hi this year my family is picking names so i am going to be spending $50.00 on the person i picked and a card for all my friends and i am not sure how much i my kids but i know it won't be very much because money is very tight. |

some distant friends i normally just send cards or very small pressies
though i am only 13 so my budget isnt great! |

in my family we spend £5 on adults (just a token gift to open) and £15-£20 on kids. i know it sounds mean but when your not made of money you need to budget. we also save for the prezzies through out the year. |

Probably I will spend none. Hopefully I can work on Christmas, so I do not have to join my husband's side family dinner thing. And also I am not a christian. So my family does not celebrate it. I might get a small gifts for my friends. But, that's about it. |
