It is way low pay for a doctor or an executive with any experience of an established company. It is fair if the company is a startup that is not profitable yet and the executives are relatively inexperienced. It is a bit low for experienced professionals with management responsibilities. It is about right for an experienced professional like an accountant or nurse, or a construction foreman. It is excellent for almost any entry-level job. It is more than four times the new minimum wage of $12,168. If no more than 35% of your take home pay (after taxes) is on housing, that would limit you to $1213 a month, which would buy a nice condo or used home of $100K or less. |

$1000. a week change that into £ sterling and here in the uk
its a good wage, however, it depends on what job you are going to be doing - if it was a doctor, then yes $1000 a week
is to low, now on the other hand if you are going to be sweeping the streets then $1000 sounds about right. |
