why do you need to change it? you can still spend the £5 note if it has a rip in it...most places will still accept it.
but if you really want to change it i dont see why they wouldnt, just be a little strange thats all.

Once you can still read it's serial number they will. I once had a note torn to shreds by my dog. Literally little tiny bits. I taped it back together and went to the bank to see if they would change it, I was worried that they would just laugh but I had to chance it cause it was a twenty. Anyways the woman changed it with no bother because the number could still be read. Good Luck getting a new one!
