I think that that is just the most pointless gameshow there is. The whole thing hangs on the premise of the contestant choosing boxes to open - no questions to answer, no puzzles to solve.

And to top it off, we have to put up with Noel Edmond's annoying shaky voice trying to drum up drama and suspense out of a pile of used Kleenex.

apparently it was a repeat...
at the end of the show tonight they had a 'tribute' to the stepson of a contestant who was supposed to have been on the show today, who had died, so i expect it could have been done as a mark of respect.
