Do I have to fill out two deposit slips for two checks?
I have two checks i want to deposit both for $50 each. i can just fill out a deposit slip for the total of $100 right? i haven't ever had to do this before, so i'm not quite sure. i don't need to fill out seperate slips for each check do i? the checks come from the same person as well. is there anything special i need to do when filling out the deposit slip form for 2 checks? just a little unsure...
Thanks for help

use one slip for both check as long as they are going to be deposited to the same account.

One form should be fine. Check the slip though. It may make you list each check individually on the slip.

you can fill out one deposit slip for 100 dollars its faster and easy unless you want to deposit them into two different accounts.

look on the back and there should be a place to enter many checks and add them up and bring the balance forward to the front

One deposit slip should be fine. The slip should have a spot for listing the values of multiple checks. Instead of listing 100, however, you will list 50 in two separate roles and at the bottom you will notice an area for the total, there you write 100.

Also many ATMs are equipped with check readers that allow you to endorsed your endorsed checks without even filling any deposit slips.

You can enter both checks onto one deposit slip and add the total up, this amount will be your total deposit amount.

In any bank i've ever deposited money in, no. You usually have spots on the deposit slip for more than one check amount. So you would just put the first amount in the first space and the second amount on the next line, making sure they're both under check. Then add them up at the bottom and deposit. (And make sure you sign the checks...)

Here are the steps to do this:

1. Start on the back of the deposit slip.
2. Write each check number and the check amount on the back.
3. Add and write the total amount of the checks on the Total line.
4. Turn the deposit slip over and transfer the total check amount to the "Check" line on the front of the slip.
5. If you are going to take any money out, you can deduct that amount from the less cash received line.
6. Put the grand total minus cash received on the bottom of the slip to give to your teller.
7. Make sure you signed your checks on the back. Some banks like you to add your account number under your signature, either way it won't hurt and it will help you to memorize your account number.
8. Give the deposit slip and your checks to the bank teller, or deposit them in a deposit envelope at the ATM.

Voila! Done! Good Luck!

fill out one slip for both....there's an area on the slip where you can insert each check number and when youre done, the clerk will give you a receipt showing how much you deposited.

you will have to sign the back of both checks and write out the amounts separately on the deposit slip, but one slip is definitely fine.

one form is all you need

Innowen
No, you just need one deposit slip. Write each check amount on a different line and put the total at the bottom. You could always ask the bank clerk at the counter to show you how.

moonshadow
one deposit slip for both ,or ask your bank when you get there
