I say there are two kind of wealthy people in America.
The first are those who are born into wealth and the second are those who work hard to become wealthy.
The ones who are born into wealth (like Paris Hilton) do not have a clear concept of what it means to work hard in order to make a living and the reason why you go to work is not to purchase the luxuries you want but instead to pay your bills, take care of the family, pay for medical expenses, and pay down your debts. People born into wealth can purchase whatever luxuries they want and they do not have to worry about how they have to pay it off.
For those who just become wealthy (like Bill Gates), they understand how it is to be the average person and the struggles you have to face everyday in order to make it to the top. I believe people who just end up wealthy are willing to donate their money to charities and volunteer their time to assist others who are less fortunate.
Overall, I believe people who are born into wealth do not care about how the everyday person has to pay bills but people who just become wealthy understand the challenges we all must face in order to make a living and be successful. |

Rich people have bills to pay, too. It's not like the electric company phones them up and says "Hey Mr. Moneybags..you are too rich to have to pay this months bill."
A lot of 'rich' people have worked hard to be rich. Why hate on them for that? |

You can’t categorize all rich people. Some are activists on behalf of the poor and others understand the struggles of the middle class and are politically involved in on behalf of policies that benefit the average American. Some rich people don’t care about anything except protecting and/or increasing their wealth. Others are unconcerned that the increase in their investments may be at the expense of workers both here and abroad. Even among those who have risen from the ranks of the poor and the middle class, there are some who remember their origins and are sympathetic and there are others who have chosen to forget. |

Hey fella, they pay bills too. And their bills are a heck of a lot bigger than yours, and they probably spend a lot more time worrying about money than you ever will, becuase they actually have some to lose. |

I think rich people want others to do as well as possible lest the government decide to tax them even more to help out those less fortunate than them. Every single Democratic presidential candidate is suggesting as much urging higher taxes on the "rich" to pay for things such as "free" health care for all and many other things. |
