I have a nationwide cash debit card... I've had the account for years but I was sent a new card a few months ago when my old one expired. I just can't remember if they sent me a new pin with it... do they send you a new one or does it stay the same as your old one? Thanks. |

you will receive a new PIN on the 10th reissue of your card with nationwide. If you have a new PIN it will say on your letter if there is a PIN to follow... |

I think you will find that your existing pin number will be digitally encoded in the debit card. You can change your pin number if you want at a Nationwide cash machine but you need the existing number to change it to another 4 digit number. |

Tango is making things up that he THINKS sound good. The PIN number is NEVER encoded on the card. If it were, it would be WORTHLESS as a security measure and could NOT be changed without special equipment that is NOT available at most bank branches or ANY ATM.
I have been though half a dozen debit cards on my checking account and the PIN number has only changed when I asked to change it. |

I've always used the same one, but that's because I keep losing them. If it's expired, you may need a new pin,which you can then change to your old one if you so wish at any Nationwide cash machine. |
