No, I do not ignore them, I pay all bills/debts as soon as possible. I have always followed the saying, there is only one good bill and that is a paid one.

Well, I got calls before...and paid it off before...and my credit went to hell after I paid them off...I haven't been in debt since, and don't plan to be...but it makes me wonder frankly if I shouldn't have paid them off...

No I do not, I deal with them before they become a bigger problem. Thankfully due to hard work and frugal living my wife and I are debt free for the moment.

defaults lol... i used to ignore thm and think they would go away...i was young and so naive...oh and incredibly stupid... However grown up, took a hold and now paid off 50% within a year and half ;)

Never have ignored a debt ever.

The way to deal with debt is to cut up all the credit cards and go over to a cash only budget.
