As they are buying the stockbroking side of Lehmans then they must have plenty of dosh, so that makes me feel a bit more secure. |

The average bank makes over $500 / year on the lower 50% of the population. The upper 50% are just getting screwed because they are earning no interest in their higher balances. |

I'm with Lloyds( terribly silly bank) TSB, they kept me waiting two years before issuing me with a debit card even tho' my wages were being paid direct,reason given was they had to get to know me better,works both ways I think! |

I'm happy enough. Even happier that I have a bank account that doesn't charge quarterly fees, so I am not constantly being fleeced to make the shareholders richer. If everyone chose their account more carefully, the banks wouldn't make the obscene profits they do, at the expense of the customer being bled dry. |

I hate mine and will be changing banks as soon as i choose another one. I'm with lloyds tsb at the moment and my dislike for them is nothing to do with the takeover. They recently failed to transfer money from my account to my business account with another bank, when I rang to find out why they had no trace of it (I transferred money over the phone). They agreed to listen to the call and investigate and after investigating their excuse didn't really add up. |

I use a combination of banking that works for me and I like them all. Chase credit cards for everyday purchases and they give me money back on everything I purchase, gotta love that. Ing Direct holds my money and pays the bills with one of the best interest rates, love that to. And national city gives me free points for making transfers and they allow me to write checks. So I love all my banks. |
