Get a postal money order (from the Post Office) or a cashier's check from a bank.
Never mail cash! |

It depends. Small amounts yes.
Paper money rounded to $1, $2, $5, $10, or $20 -- use ONE single bill ONLY, usually works for me if it is folded into a magazine ad to conceal it, and then placed in a cheap greeting card. Don't have to give my checking account number to strangers either.
I often pay eBay sellers with 100% ratings this way. I use US stamps to pay odd amounts, like $5.50 I would put a $5 and two stamps. Sellers save on PayPal fees, and I don't need an account or the hassle of driving, standing in line at Walmart or Post office to buy money order.
And ever try to recover a lost money order? Hoo boy. What a hassle.
Never had a problem with cash, but then I buy small ticket items from 100% long term sellers. |

It is risky but I have done it. Make sure it is well concealed in a folded paper before you mail it. Never send money in a colored envelope as thieves grab those first thinking they may be BDay cards with money in them. |

Hallmark has Cards for money, you can put the money in a card, Paper, whatever. Just do not Advertise what you doing. A Postal Money Order cost 80 cents I think and that up to $500 I believe. |

I did it in Europe...there was no problem. I did it in Asia and the addressee got the envelope with letter, but no money!!! So I would say: NO |

Depends on the amount. If you are talking about 5 or 10 bucks, then yes. If you are talking about the Gross National Product of Guam, then no... |

That really depends on how you handle your Mail.If you take it to the post office and notify your Friend that it's being sent you should be Okay.If who ever you send it to leaves his or her Mail in the mailbox for days at a time then it's not safe. |

If I have to, Isend a money order and then keep the stub. |

First off, it's prohibited by law to do so. Moreover, any general mails are not trackable; and in case of loss during transition, you would not be reimbursed anything. |

I'd say no because my grandma had a bad experience with doing that. |

Check or money order is fine because if it gets lost you can cancel the checks, but never send cash in the mail. If the mail man don't steal it, it can get lost. |
