No. Money truly is the root of most evil. You struggle most of your life trying to make enough to support yourself and plan for retirement. If you make more, the government takes more. If you make a whole lot more, you can buy alot of material things, but if you have no one to share it with and the government takes even more and prices keep soaring, you wind up with stress-related illnesses that the drs and hospital will get, die broke anyway. But if you're fortunate, you will have had enough or made prearrangements for the thousands it's going to cost to bury you. Not my idea of happy, but I've watched it happen to friends and family members for years. |

No but it does help pay the bills, I have always asked myself if I'd be really happy if I was rich I think that i would because I would be able to pay off all of my bills move where I want in a great house I would love to travel I would give some to my family that would make me happy but then on the other hand i try and think what would I do after I have done everything I wanted to do. People would treat me so different they would either be real rude to me or would just be fake and try and use me for my money It would be lonely in some ways. I could go on and on about this question I guess that to have enough money to be comfortable would be nice and I would be happy but money doesn't always buy you happiness the circle of life as i call it I really don't thing anyone is ever really happy rich poor middle class people there is always something more, less that people want .....I know I got carried away but I think about this alot......lol sorry |

well if they have fun by spending money, or by buying thing, then its true for them, but its not always equal happiness, for ex. if someone is happy just because he is living money doesn't really help his happiness, but money can add up to your happiness, but nonetheless feelings and what you like is higher than any world object |

The lack of Money can cause un-happiness, but has others have mentioned here, once you get above a certain point, many tings other than money factor in. At that point you have to decide what would make you happy. For some people it is tons of Money, so the addage fits. For others it is travel, volunteer work, teaching, extreme sports, laying around doing nothing, etc. |

I don't think Money can make you happy (though i'd like to think it does), but not having money can really F you up. Money is a double edge sword, really. We should just go back to the days of farming and bartering. |

No Money = Security. Sometimes Security equals Happiness. Money can buy you things that bring you enjoyment, but Happiness no. Unless you give it away and that makes you happy helping others, but you can only do that for so long right.
I always tell people having enough money to live comfortably makes me feel secure.
My Family, friends , kids, hobbies, job, doing things I enjoy, and Husband are what make me laugh and smile and feel blessed and they all = Happiness. |
