When I have volunteered in thrift shops some of the shoppers buy tins or older kitchen utensils, they might buy certain types of vintage clothing, weird nick-knacks, older dishes, cookbooks, etc. and then they sell it on Ebay or at antique fairs. |

Yes. Find a local company that outsources administrative work. Otherwise, you have to pretty much start your OWN business. Trust me, I've done Usborne, Tupperware, Avon, Mary Kay, and Discovery toys...all good sellers but in the end they cost me money. Computer work pays better. |

There are many ways of making money from home but all the ones I know give a very small return (£2 hourly etc). These include hand painting models, assembling various 'handmade products', sorting junk mail, telesales etc etc If there truly was a way, we would would all have heard about it and be doing it. I had a real good business idea that may work - sell products from local independent shops on bay for comission, wouldnt make you a millionaire but something like this is the only plausible way I reckon..... Anything that appears to good to be true; IS! |

Internet...building websites....get one of those business magazines that offer true ways to make a living without falling into scams. (Don't fall for any of the classified ads). Just think of what you really like to do and see if it is feasible to turn it into a business.

Yes theres lots of ways. The problem is that people are looking for "jobs". Like people actually think theres companies out there that want to pay them to do the normal things they would do on a normal job. If you want to make money on the internet, you have to learn how to do internet type jobs. Data entry is not an internet job. Surveys are not an internet job. Internet jobs are jobs that you create yourself. Your own business. Theres no place where you sign up for a job and they give you a lunch hour or a deadline to get something finished...its not like that. You have to make your own money and if you are working for someone else, you are an independent contractor. For instance, big companies will pay you to promote their websites. Thats called affiliate marketing. People ask everyday how to make money and the answer is right under their noses. Just about every site on the internet will pay you to refer people. How do you refer people? Build a website! Then learn how to use things like google adwords to advertise. This is how people really make money online. You can also sell domain names or invest in those. Thats big money if you learn it and know what your doing. Its the same kind of money you could get from stocks (I also day trade stocks so im able to compare the 2). Here is a tutorial about it http://www.richkits.com/domains. If you learn how to do that, there ya go, you'll be making money from home. It may not be a "job" like most people think, but its something more profitable and more reliable...its your very own "business". Just search on ebay for people selling domains...type in "domains" on ebay and you will see tons of people buying and selling them and making a living from them. Thats where the cheap domains sell. Domains sell for thousands of dollars every single day. If you want to sell smaller, I also recommend you go to ecrater. Ebay is such an untrustworthy site now and they are making up new rules to limit sellers everyday. I would rather support ecrater or onlineauction or craigslist, so I have to mention them too. Well those are some of the ways people make money online. You dont have to deal with scams if you figure out how to make a profitable business. Then you dont have to trust going through anybody else. Its yours. |

Yes I do... You can work out of your home as a customer support tech with clients that have Direct TV set up in their home. You would trouble shoot their problems from your home. This company (not direct tv) has a contrct set up with Direct TV to trouble shoot issues their clients may have. This company hires those that want to work from home. They pay you by the hour. About $10.00 per hour. You have to have the right equitment in your home with little or no distractions. A computer running Windows XP or Vista(Home, Professional, or Media Edition) and Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.xSP1 or Internet Explorer 7.0 • The ability to be on a corded telephone line, with a corded headset, while on the Internet (but not a VoIP phone); • A corded headset (specifications will be provided to you upon hire) • A quiet work environment throughout your entire shift • A secure work space to maintain corporate privacy requirements • Broadband Internet Access. The current training sites are: Watertown, NY, Fayetteville, NC, Wichita Falls, TX, and Lawton, OK. Please keep in mind that training must happen in one of these locations.

I am a Tupperware consultant, and it has been a blessing for our family. It is not get rich quick, it is indeed work. It is honest and legitimate. I don't care to take risks with my time and money. But it is on my time, on my terms. If I do the math, I get about $75/hour. Here at home I consider myself the relief pitcher that makes ends meet at the end of the month. I bring home between $1500-1800 on any given month. And really, we're talking about Tupperware. Everyone already owns it and loves it. |
