Does anybody know of a REAL work from home program that really works?? !!!?
I'm not trying to get rich, just trying to earn extra income from home without having to leave my kids. I'll also appreciate personal experiences on sites NOT to try and stay away from. Thanks!

I'm a work at home mom...I have a home based business as a rep with Latasia jewelry and love it! The company has been in business for over 15 years and is a member of the DSA. The job is fun, easy and the money is great. I'm not sure what kind of interests you have but it may be an option for you to consider. I'd be happy to send you some info if you'd like and can help you get started for free. I don't want to to break any of the yahoo rules, so if you're intereseted in hearing more, my contact info is on my profile.
Good luck!
Kim :)

Any site that makes you pay to sign up in a rip off. I tried one of those sites and was charged over $1,500 to my credit card and bank account, they hacked all my info.
That was over a year ago and I'm still getting letters from companies I've never even heard of saying I owe them money.

The best thing to do is go to the unemployment center where you live and ask about working from home. Stuffing envelopes or you know those bubble gum machines that have the little toys in the bubbles? well putting together those little bubbles. My cousin did both of those ideas and made $75 a week. You can make more if you do more.

What about babysitting the local kids?

you cannot run a home day care unless you've been to college for early childhood education.

No, I don't.

I don't know if you are familiar with Clark Howard. Clark is the self proclaimed "Consumer Warrior" who is very honest. I listen to his radio program although he's published a few books too. Since the work-from-home arena is infested with thieves he has worked fairly diligently to find those that are legitimate and has posted those companies that offer work-from-home call center jobs on his website, clarkhoward.com

I hope this helps.

What about babysitting? I think you are unlikely to find a magic quick fix out there. If you are focused on your kids you can't really focus on most forms of lucrative work.

ugottafriend4life
My friend just introduced me to elance.com. It is a site that lists temporary and sometimes permanent freelance jobs. You find one that you are qualified to do, bid on it (tell them how much they have to pay you), and the employer chooses who they want to do the job. It's pretty competitive, and costs $10 a month, but if you can land at least one gig a month, that easily pays the fee. My friend has made a little over $300 so far, and she has been on there about a month and half.

Stay away from any kind of site that claims to pay you thousands of dollars to work part time....that's all crap.

Go to www.jsgetaway.info and check it out and if you like what you see let me know. This is a real work from home opp where you are a referring travel agent. I have been doing it for a couple of months and am making money at it. So if this isnt what you are looking for, best of luck to you!

Ian
Babysitting is a good idea, but I do online surveys, cash offers, and paid emails. They're free to join and really easy to do.

If you're interested, check out my website and see what you think.

The first question that you should ask your self : What are you good at?

For example. Are you good at teaching any school subjects?

How about giving tution at home for kids living around your area? It can be done only in the day time and you can still stay with your kids at home.

I had also heard such " work from home" program

-Day time Baby sitting
-Interior designing
-Financial Planner
-Craft work teaching
-Realtor
-Small Baking or Cooking class
-Costume making

There are a lot more.

dylansmom25
supposedly there are some on Oprah's website that she has investigated and found to be legit..

I dont knowif its true, but thats what my mom told me

jj
Well, you've probably already seen "Process From Home". If you've not, don't touch that mouse! SMC, Specialty Merchandise Center, not good either, cheese and wants 500-1000 for web site.

What I've see so far that's legit is melaluca. It a real deal, helping people help others. www.themomteam/jjsbizniz

Try it, it's a real business one can build, but commitment is the key and the desire to build your own business.

please check the below site, you'll get a lot of information about genuine home based job, you can earn good income, please visit: http://workyourtime.googlepages.com

Work at home programs do not make so much money, due to the fact that people would rather actually see someone and communicate with them, rather than just talk to them over the phone. Telemarketing can be a good option, but you won't earn that much money (just over min. wage). Try finding something you are good at, find some friends that are interested, and start a business from home. That might be one of the only good solution for working at home.

Or you could invest in stocks,...... but, well, its stocks.... : l
no pain, no gain.

My name is Steven C. I live in Orange County. I have tried a few of the online systems, very confusing and never made 1 dollar. I have been working with a new nutrition company, its amazing. I have only been with them for about three weeks now and I am already earning money, at the same time I am getting healthy. I lost five pounds in two weeks. Email me at sc@myvisalus.com and I will give you a call. Good luck!

PS: the affiliate stuff is tough. There are alot of them out there.

fud323
You can try this:
https://www.surveysavvy.com?id=2061522&action=join

It's a site that pays you for filling out surveys.. there's no subscription fees or anything, all you need is a working email address. Every few days they'll send you a survey request, all you gotta do is fill it out and they credit your account with money.

You probably wont make much (50-100/month) but I guess every bit helps. You'll make on average, 1 to 20$ per survey depending on the survey length.. (the most I ever got paid for a survey was 25$ but it took 1-2 hours to fill out)

I use to fill these surveys out all the time in high school (made a couple hundred bucks) but stopped after I got a real job.

my sister-in-law runs a licensed day care from home and is completely self reliant. Being licensed you can get grants for equipment, toys etc, you can register with the state to get low income support. Qualified parents pay a percentage of your fee and the low income program pays you the rest. The key is make it a legal day care and check with the Small business Administration to help you get started and get all the perks, plus you get to write off a percent of the cost of your house/utilities/phone/ depriciation/etc.

She has a waiting list and earns a healthy 40k from home. The garage was converted into a daycare room, with its own access door.
