I think that it is sent back to you and then you have to either change the stamp or add another one to amount to the correct value. =)

It should be returned to you, and will be stamped with insufficient postage.

♥Juicy Couture♥
They send it back to you using your return address, and write a note on the letter paper. It's like when you recieve someone elses mail, you write "wrong address" on the letter and put it in the mailbox.

mschaka77
its going to come right back to ya!!!

1. Post office will return the letter to you with insufficient fund stamped on top
2. Depending on the post office and who handles the case, it may actually gets delivered and have the insufficiency paid by the recipient.
3. It may be tossed into the trash

The person who you send the mail to will have to pay postage.Or the mail carrier simply wont deliver it.

abcd
i did it a couple of times and it got to its destination just fine!

jumpingrightin
I think it either gets returned to the sender (you) or arrives post-due and the person you sent it to just makes up the difference.

Whoever said it gets ripped up, that's wrong!

The post office returns it to you. That's why you are supposed to put a return address on it.
