They send it back to you using your return address, and write a note on the letter paper. It's like when you recieve someone elses mail, you write "wrong address" on the letter and put it in the mailbox. |

2. Depending on the post office and who handles the case, it may actually gets delivered and have the insufficiency paid by the recipient.

I think it either gets returned to the sender (you) or arrives post-due and the person you sent it to just makes up the difference.
