There are a lot of ways for someone with ingenuity and ambition to make money on the Internet. However, there's no easy way to do so.
Some ideas include:
Providing a business service (such as transcription) that can be conducted via e-mail and file sharing;
Selling things on E*bay (this isn't easy because finding products that you can sell at a profit is very challenging);
Providing Internet services such as a mail server or usenet server (this requires some money up front); and
Providing content or services that people find entertaining enough to pay for (good luck - not many companies have found that magic ticket).
As I said, none of these are easy. The first two are probably the easiest to get off the ground. If you try E*bay, be careful. There are a lot of scams built up around this site.
For any of these, do your research.
In addition, many companies will now hire people to work from home. If you have the right skills, you might be able to work as a mass-marketer or coder.
Another avenue you could pursue would be as a professional contest entrant. Some people make a small income by entering every free contest they can. Even if they only win a few of them it can mean a steady in flow of cash and prizes.
Or, you could focus on refunding and rebating. There are people who substantially supplement their income by doing this.

I use my blog that I got for free from blogger.com, blog daily about stuff in general, people advertise on my site (which generates income) and I use adbrite.com to monetize my site. I chose adbrite because I make more money than I did from Adsense. In order to make money from Adsense you really have to have lots of traffic; something a new blog won't have in the beginning. With Adbrite, I make money just from people visiting, even though I only average about 500 hits a day.
Also, you can use payperpost. They pay you to blog about different products from a variety of companies.
Visit my blog and there is a link for payperpost, it's toward the end of the page on the right side. All of these are free things you can join up with, no cost out of pocket and they pay. In addition, I belong to a group of bloggers who make an average of $3000 month just from blogging and we reguarly share secrets/tips how to make money blogging/online from home. be careful as there are a lot of scams on the internet claiming to allow you to make money. try something simple like selling things on ebay...if you have nothing to sell, go to your local charity shop and see if you can pick up something cheap to sell on for a profit. |

eBay is a great way to make extra cash on-line . It's easy and only requires a digital camera and credit card . You probably have lots of things around your house you aren't using now that other people would buy . Also you can hit garage sales , estate sales , and flea markets . My dad sells on eBay as well . He has an eye and experience for knows how to spot something of value . Last year he bought four ( empty ) train boxes for 20.00 at an estate sale , and sold them on eBay for .....get this ....$1200.00 ! If you have the time , and it sounds like you do you can get out and start searching . Spring is on the way and that would be great time to start hitting sales .
