Yes, I've been with an online survey company for about 2 years...probably made close to $200, plus I got to try out samples. I never paid any costs, I was just invited to it through a friend. Unfortunately, you have to be invited and picked to be able to join. |

I have never made "money" perse, but I have redeemed gift cards to the store of my choice with the points I gain from taking online surveys.
MyPoints gives you points for looking at webpages (usually 5 points per page), and answering short surveys. If you purchase anything online, you also get points for fufilling your order. The points accumulate in an account, and you can redeem the points for gift cards to various stores and restaurants, including Walmart, Target, CVS, etc.
Zoompanel is an online survey site that gives you points for each survey you complete, and you can save up points and redeem them for merchandise. I just got a DVD in the mail the other day. |

Plus, you get money for referrals.
Everytime your account reaches a certain amount (I think its $20) you can request to have a check mailed to you or a deposit made into your paypal.
I make about $70 a week from it..... I am definitely not going to get rich quick from it, but the exrtra money comes in handy for gas & stuff!
I do a few other ones too, but surveysavvy is the best.
PS: You do NOT need to lay out any money to join, nor would I trust any site that aks you too..... You DO need to be invited, but that link I posted will serve as your invite if you chose to use it.

There are many good online paid survey sites which conduct market research surveys. Many of them give handsome rewards for your participation in online surveys. You have to join each of them individually and you get survey invitations by email. Rewards for surveys vary from $1 to $20 or more. Many pay for each survey you take or give you points which you can redeem for cash at a particular level. Some of them enter you into sweepstakes.
All are free to join. The so called paid surveys which charge money like $35 for you to join are only databases of such free to join companies, which you have to join individually. But only 30 to 40 out of those 500 or so survey sites are really worth joining.

Most online survey sites are scams. Never ever ever pay to join a survey site.
There are legitimate survey sites out there, however you will usually only be able to make around 10-30 dollars a month per site.
