Am 19 years old college student that maybe soon be on my own. And in two-three weeks..or less I will be ready to get a loan. Am looking for a loan that will not require me to have a co signer and not ask about credit history because I used my cards for school when I should of had aid soon I will be getting that within three weeks or less could be in five days. But other then that I need money for transportation,food ect. so yeah am on my own with this.

As one who knows about college - debt - credit etc - I would first recommend you secure part time work. Honestly, credit card companies go after college students to sink them into debt early. Stay in control. Pay off your credit cards ASAP. Be proactive about ALWAYS having income and still have time for studying and fun.

The only loan you will get that doesn't look at your credit history is a payday loan, and their rates are very high. Your best bet is if you have a bank account and have for a while then see if your bank will give you a small personal loan. Remember, that they can help you get started, but if you don't have the money now to pay for the basics, you will have even less after a loan because of the loan payments.

You have some good answers there, starting with the bank. I hope you have some type of job because that will be essential so your lender believes you have the ability to pay back the loan. Beware with some of your answers here. They are loan scammers among them. Do not give any personal information to a lender until you get a verifiable business name, address and phone number. And the key tipoff is that the lender will want upfront money for the loan. That is illegal in the US and Canada. No lender is allowed to ask for upfront money prior to you receiving the loan. Check the Federal Trade Commission's and Crimes of Persuasion's websites for more info on loan scams.
