The maximum amount that can be withdrawn from any cash machine within any 24 hour period is £300.
The daily maximum cash withdrawal over the branch counter is £1200, unless pre-ordered.
If you wish to withdraw more than £1,200 in cash, you will need to give your branch advance notice. When making large withdrawals, you will need to provide ID. |

not sure if it depends on the account but i can withdraw a maximum of £300 from a cash point and £1000 over the counter, after that you have to give 3 days working notice |

I think it is £2,500 as I went with a lady I work for a few weeks ago to the Halifax and that was the minimum she could get that day. She had just had a full rewire and wanted to pay the electritian £4,000 but only drew 2,500. |
