I looked over all the answers and I have found it is faster to do it yourself, by the time you fill in all the blanks you have wasted time, if you punch in a wrong number you have wasted more time. I have Microsoft Money 2006 and can balance the book faster. Can you access your account on line and then d/l into your computer into a money program ? This way you have every thing up to date from your bank.
Just a tip: When your reach the point where the book balances "highlight" that place with a highlighter pen, this way you know that everything was correct up to that place. This way if you have a problem you know where to start looking for the error. |

It is called a Calculator. If you need a program to do that it must be pretty bad ,or else you have so much money that you can't keep track of it.! |

For basic checkbook balancing and bank account management Quicken is better (and cheaper) then Quickbooks which is more aimed at businesses. There is another program Micorsoft Money which does essentially the same thing as Quicken, but Quicken had software out BEFORE Windows even existed, so they have way more experience.
Else you can enter the numbers all manually into Excell, but it's a LOT of work. |

. quick-books are good ways to balance a checkbook but there is a computer accessory that will help even more. Its called a shredder. You put all your credit cards in it and cut it on.Why heck in no time your checkbook will be balanced. Hope this helps Merry Christmas Roy |

"Quicken" is a pretty good accounting software program and it does have a balance feature. I use it at home and at work.
