Does anyone still carry cash in thier wallets? Or have most people switched over to credit/debit cards?
When I need money I go to the bank or ATM and withdraw cash. I really like the feel of cash leaving my hands and get to feel the money being spent.
Do you enjoy having money in your wallet? I do!
Debit cards and credit cards aren't real money to me. When you hand over paper dollar bills it may hurt if you are buying something too expensive. When you use plastic you don't feel any pain when spending money. Additional Details I'm in my late 20s and also write checks to pay my bills. Most people don't even write checks.
I take out $250 each Sunday and use it for breakfast, lunch, groceries for dinner, and gas each week.

I never use any cash, unless I plan on getting a taxi home that night.
But I do totally agree that you think twice before spending large amounts of cash whereas you realy don't with plastic.

I have cash, but also a debt card just in case

Only cash taken from ATM.
Credit card only in emergency.
No cash=no buy.

I'm an old lady at 22. I still use checks so I can keep track of what I've spent. It's the only thing that has kept my bills on track!

1) Credit cards are good for accumulating cashback points and other rewards.
2) For purchases less than $5, I prefer to pay with cash. It seems silly when somebody charges a candy bar and bottle of pop for $2, especially when it's an adult.
3) Regular and responsible use of credit can buildup one's credit history. You can't do that with cash.

i keep my cash in my hat

I pay all out of pocket expenses either with cash or check. Do not charge.
