Can you please tell me all the steps of how i would recvie payment through paypal is i was to sell something on ebay! Onece the item is won, do i get an e-mail from papypal to accept the payment...? does it go through automatically...???
Basically all i want to know is if i sell something on ebay and recive payment through paypal, then wat are all the staeps i have to take to complete the transaction!

You need to register first. Put in all you bank details and things. Paypal is like a separate bank account. You can always get a balance and you can purchase things though ebay and pay with that money in the account. If you want the money to go into your own bank account it is just a matter of transferring it. (usually takes a couple of days).
I find it good as this means you dont give your personal bank info to anyone and it is an instant payment for the buyer and well as for you if you want to pourchase something.
Its a little confusing to start but once you registered and get going you will be fine.
Oh and also, yes when someone makes a payment you will get an email saying that payment has been made through Paypal. |

2. When item is won by buyer, he will select pay by PayPal on auction page.
3. If he is a "verified" PayPal user, the payment will go to your PayPal account.
3a. If he is "unverified" then you will get an email asking if you will accept the PayPal payment.
4. Once money is in your account, you can use it to buy stuff or you can transfer it to your checking account. This takes about 3 days to happen. |

someone pays you through paypal. It is added to your paypal account. You dont have to accept anything.
If you want to withdraw money you can (there is a section for that) Its really easy. Sign into paypals website and look at your account. you will see that things can be credited and debited. |

Firstly, the following applies if you are in the UK.
When your buyer pays with paypal, you'll get an email from paypal to tell you, but you must ALSO go to your paypal account and check that the payment says 'completed'.
If it says 'pending', it means that the buyer has paid you with an echeque - this will take around ten working days to clear, and you shouldn't send the item out until you see 'completed' in your paypal account.
That means that the money is there in your paypal account - you can then spend it, or draw it down into your bank account.
Once you see 'completed' you should send the item to the buyer.
If you have a personal account (the one you have to start with) and your buyer uses a card to pay you, you will be asked to accept or decline the payment
This is because you are only allowed to accept two card-funded payments per year when you have a personal account.
If you accept, the payment will go into your paypal account but you will be charged a fee (check on the paypal site to see what it is). If you refuse, the buyer will have to pay you by another method - and they won't be very happy. |

Everyone above is correct, and it's all explained clearly on the Ebay and PayPal websites. But there is one thing they didn't mention - when you want to transfer your money out of your PayPal Account, there is a fee for this, unless the amount transferred is 50 pounds or more. So bear this in mind, and try to wait till you have 50 quid before withdrawing money.
PayPal makes a charge for each transaction - it is safe, but it ain't cheap. |

Yes. It's automatic. If someone sends you a payment through paypal they'll ask you to set up an account. You'll need to have an e-mail address and add your bank details, maybe a credit card no to become verified. |

first of all make sure you are signed up for paypal.
see your paypal as an account. When people pay on ebay, they are sending money direct to your account (it is automatic). You can then log into your account and withdraw money (which is basically transferring it from paypal to your own bank account). Alternatively, you can leave the money in your paypal account, and use the credit to pay for something you may purchase.

forget paypal.just use money order,it somehow seems that more people use money orders to due how many are ignorant and scared of using a credit card online plus the bidding go's higher. |
