christopherguy25 | Ebay nightmare Paypal raped me of my human rights does anyone else hate them, what can we do to fight back!!!! |
www.paypalsucks. I want to know what we can do to get our own back. They are a bunch of absolute scumbags and have been getting away with suspending and placing limits on peoples accounts for absolutely no valid reason and not allowing them to withdraw their OWN money for 180 days. This is 2007 why is this being allowed to happen? I made a couple of purchases on ebay and sent and received money. Then when my balance was £431 i tried to make a withdrawl which i did. 2 days later paypal returned the money to my account and placed limitation on it. They asked me to send passport, drivers licence, bank statement, bank card etc by fax in order to remove limitation. I did and they still said no. So basically they had no intentions to do this whilst asking for all your personal info. Told me i had to wait 180 days to get my money back. Scumbags, how do they get away with it, they sit with everyones cash for 180 days and make interest from it. Disgusting!!! who wants 2 crush paypal with me? Additional Details Ok im beginning to wonder whether is employees of paypal who are righting me messages. As for lane p you will find that many people dont read small print, do you read small print in everythink you buy or dign up to. I think we all know the answer to that. Also bdancer if you think its normal to wait 180 days to withdraw your own funds then you need your head examined. And to Ting Tong please dont be stupid the info was sent to paypal i even called them to confirm this. You live in noddy land. Thats the most idiotic thing anyone has ever said to me. I think you ave been watching too much James Bond or something Check these out.

OMG!!!! How stupid are you to believe that pay pal needed your passport, drivers license bank statement and bank card???
At best paypay needs your bank account info to put money into your account, or your credit card number.
My gawd you are stupid.
STUPID.
It's your own fault.

I've never had a problem with paypal. |

And we're supposed to believe you over Paypal simply because you tell us to? |

you faxed all your personal information to someone? What would paypal want with your passport ? sounds like a scam to me first thing you need to do is contact your bank ASAP and let them flag your account as fraud contact credit bureau add fraud alert to your account ASAP.Sounds like they had you do a few transactions in order for you to believe it was pay pal |

I have used paypal for years I have never had a problem. I suspect that you are not telling us the whole story. Why did they single you our for this treatment? |

It' about choices you chose to use paypal ,no one put a gun to your head and forced you. Read the fine print they don't hide it.
I have never had problems with them at all.s a matter of fact they saved my a-- on a couple of transactions.
Ps Yeah I do read the fine print ,if you start investing in real estate , or banking ,or any transaction that uses your money you better learn to read the fine print or get screwed!
BTW pay pal already has all the information on you that they need.
Thats it have your little tantrum.......do you feel better now little fella? |

There are millions of people using Paypal every day without incident. While that may be a happy coincidence, it most likely is not. Paypal doesn't care about your $900, or about you. So either you're being played like a violin by identitiy thieves, or there's more here than meets the eye. |

Exactly which "basic human right" did they violate by making you wait to withdraw money from your account?
I don't use paypal but it sounds like you didn't bother to read all the fine print. It seems reasonable to me that they might have a hold time for larger amounts. Or maybe there was something fishy about your transactions that put a hold on your account. |

If you were selling second hand items which they could prove are fake then yeah they will limit your account and hold your money for 180 days as it says in their user agreement to fight buyer complaints or chargebacks. They do this because people flood ebay and other sites with Louis Vuitton, Coach, Apple Ipods, and so on advertised to be real which are fake because they are super low priced, low quality and the majority of the brand name designers do not sell wholesale. I have no clue how you are going to fight it because you have already lost. |

you didn't log on to paypal but on to a site which looks like paypal...lets call it "notpp.com"
You visited notpp.com and used your paypal username and password so the guys who made notpp.com have your paypal username and password..so they can empty your bank account.
Next you contacted the guys at notpp.com and you mailed them all your personal identification so they can now steal your identitiy too.
I suggest you talk to your bank about identity theft.
The alternative is that we beleive your word over the reputation of the reputable company paypal.com
You appear to be embarrased by my answer...I recommend you take my advice seriously and contact your bank.
Fellow answerers...there is an alternative way to read this story; Perhaps the questioner is a stressed and failed paypal scammer trying to get some revenge on paypal by whipping up a storm against them? |
