I'm planning to sell my clothes, and I already signed up for Paypal using my mom's credit card. I want more freedom with her card, because she's very protective over it (she thinks i'm going to online shop). On ebay it said

You're notified with an email from PayPal as soon as your buyer pays. You can then transfer the money to your bank account, withdraw it at an ATM with a PayPal ATM/Debit Card, or earn a return with the PayPal Money Market Fund

Does that mean Paypal sends me a Paypal ATM/Debit Card? Can I apply for it, so that money can store up in my card, and I can use it? Without my mom bothering me and not giving me my full pay on what I earned on Ebay?

Oh and what does "earn a return with the PayPal Money Market Fund " mean?

You have to apply for that debt/ATm card, but I don't think it costs anything, but I'm not sure. I just transfer my paypal money to my bank account.

Paypal has a debit card that can be used as a credit card. Yes to your questions and in regards to the market fund they are talking about earning interest.

Confident
you can i apply for it but it based on credit approval the best thing to di is get verfied wit paypal(open a bank account and put on paypal) and your funds can be transfer there. if you want it mail it will take longer.

You can apply for that card here:

A money market fund is a type of savings account. The return they are talking about is the interest it pays.

Did you check about the fees of selling,, they will be charged to account. Fee if sells, fee for pictures, and other things. and late charges if fee not paid. Keep reading about the rules. There may be age limit on the Pay card or have to be in same name as account, your Mom I guess. I havent started sell yet as it took me forever to get Pay Pal set right. There is a help/ questions click on the home page for questions to be E answered. I remember they bill you from 16 to 20th and 1 - 5th for their fees. ebay.com/help/account*mamatx

pay pal is just an online account type deal. No card. It acts like a debit account, just online.
I can understand why your mom would be protective of her card. Be careful who you give the account # to.

no no no by all means dont apply for that card. im guessing youre pretty young if youre using your moms card. and on top of that, you are not old enough to apply for those (unless youre 18, but im guessing youre not). i started ebaying when i was 15 and found a good solution to keeping my finances to myself. go to the bank and get an account. the generally wont let you get one if youre under 16 but they will let you get a joint account with your parent and they will make you the PRIMARY account holder, meaning you have all control over the account. if you dont want your mom on there later you can take her off the account once youre old enough. after getting a bank account in your name, get YOUR OWN paypal and ebay account and youll be fine so long as you dont go applying for every "deal" that says you can get a credit card (even though youll be denied if youre underage). that way you can ebay yourself without your mom being involved.

Just as a regular credit card, you must apply for a Paypal ATM/DEBIT card. Also, you must have a good credit score. they do look at things like that. You just have to be careful, cause the atm card, has an interest rate. and if you don't watch out, you will have problems.

The PayPal ATM/debit car isn't included with a PayPal account; you have to apply for it just as you would any other credit card from their website. You can use a standard ATM card from any bank if you set up a checking account with that bank. In order to get the money from your PayPal account (after someone has paid you for an article of clothing) to that ATM card so you can use the money in town though, you need to make a transfer from the PayPal website, which can take about three days. With the PayPal ATM, you don't need to wait those three or so days or make a transfer because it is directly from that account.

That said though, I still just prefer a standard ATM card, as it is one less card to think about or deal with if it gets misplaced or stolen. You might as well have an actual account at a bank or credit union because it's easy and you'll end up getting one sometime anyway. Making a transfer from your PayPal account page is easy, and three days really isn't that long a time.

No when you go into paypal.com you see how much money you've earned... after the auction ends and they pay you through paypal... the money goes into that. If you want to 'withdrawl' the money, you click on the withdrawl tab and then you send the money directly into your back account. It's a direct deposit. Usually takes 3-4 business days. But no, they aren't going to send you a debit card. That'd be WAY too complicated.
