HELP!!!!!!! I Need Ideas!!!!!!!!?

I am 11 years old and i need ideas to raise $400 in 1 month! so that i can go to a gymnastics camp in the end of the summer!!!

You could go door to door and ask for donations. Remind them that its a tax deduction for then!! Or do a bake sale at a grocery store. Just get permission first.

yard sale or a dog wash
or you could baby sit and/or run errands for people

ask parents for it or some of it first!!!!
-set a jar in shopping places (get permission from owner) and people who exit can deposit money. be sure to tape y ur collecting on the jar
-yard sale: sell some of ur things
-dog wash
-chores for neighbors or family members (i.e. mowing lawn, dishes, etc.)

Wow, that is a lot in one month! How about baby sitting, dog walking, picking up some extra chores, pet sitting when people are away from home, things like that?

Ask people to "sponsor" you.

$400 in a month is up there but still very possible, any kind of fundraiser would be a good start - thru your school or not there are plenty of options. Search fundraiser ideas on google and see what you find, maybe even team up with some friends, get onto it asap coz the sooner you do the sooner you'll make some cash!

I used to work for a company who took high school athletes overseas for competition and they were able to raise $3,000 in a month. Here's the keys and a few quick ideas:

Keys:
1. You have to present this as an opportunity you've been invited to. For instance, create a flyer and tell people about the camp, put a photo or two of gymnastics on it and a photo of you.

2. Your family (aunts, grandma, etc.) don't care about the camp but they care about you. These are your best source of donations.

3. Tell people what you're planning to do (trying to do), what you're doing to make it happen and the help you need from them.

Okay, ideas:

1. Create the flyer and tell everyone your total cost ($400). Then ask them if they can donate $10 to help you achieve this goal. If your life long goal is to be a gymnast, be sure to tell them this is the reason you want to attend the camp. Send one of these to every family member you have (i.e. aunts, uncles, etc.)

2. Create the flyers and this time tell everyone you're doing a penny drive on a certain day at a certain time next week. Get one of these to every house in your neighborhood (we're talking lots of houses). Then on the appointed day and time, take a few friends with you and some five gallon buckets and go around and collect everyone's pennies.

3. Cut a deal with a local flower wholesaler. Then sell flower arrangements and delivery to every man you can find. How much to charge depends on what you'll be delivering. For instance, lets say you can swing a deal with a flower wholesaler to get a dozen roses (and greenery) for $10. You'd then have someone teach you to arrange flowers and sell these with cards to men for $30. You'd have to do a nice job, deliver them, etc. but a dozen roses delivered usually costs $50-$70 so men understand the value. Again, you create a flyer, present this as a fundraiser and why and then get those flyers into every man's hands you can. Have friends give them to their dads, have your parents help with friends and co-workers, etc. Do the math -- at $20 profit per arrangement you only need to sell 20 of these. If I were you though I'd milk it for all its worth and sell 100 and them and have fun with the extra cash!

To clarify that last one -- what you're doing is telling men to buy their wife, girl friend, mother, etc. a flower arrangement that you'll deliver for them. You're essentially acting as the flower shop. If you can't find a flower wholesaler, work out a deal with a flower shop and explain that you'd like to use this as an advertising tool for them. They can put their name on it somehow and maybe include a coupon for the next order.

I get sick of the stupid fund raisers schools do but any of these would work with me.
