Ebay forced us sellers to only accept Paypal or other credit card method last month except in a very small number of categories. Many sellers are just as upset as you, because the seller has to pay Ebay (which owns Paypal) additional fees as opposed to checks and money orders. I stopped selling on Ebay because of it. |

I stopped accepting money orders years ago, as did many other sellers. eBay finally caught up with common sense. Money orders are not a safe way to pay for items. If the seller doesn't ship your item, what recourse do you have? NONE.
A lot of sellers are upset because they can no longer force buyers to pay with an unsafe payment method. They're mad because they have to pay PayPal fees, which is a totally normal cost of doing business. These crap merchants will need to take their business somewhere else.
To answer your question, buyers can still ASK a seller if the seller will accept a money order. Sellers are allowed to accept it, but are not required to. And they are prohibited from asking for it. |

I am not sure but when I am buy on ebay i use ONE credit card for that and that only incase something happens that my number is stolen, I thought they where changing to pay pal only.. |

It depends on the seller if they would like to accept money orders or not, not ebay. Just open up a bank account just for ebay and set up a pay pal, thats what I did. |
