Have you been positive, negatively or not affected at all by the current recession?
Additional Details I'm in the PI busyness and work has been great more fighting among couples means more survaylance work catching cheeters and I also have to track down more dead beats. I geuss my job is recesion proof !!

We've been negatively affected by the recession but not as much as most other people. We didn't have too much debt and we own our own home (no mortgage). We were more impacted by my husband's medical condition and him only being able to work part-time for one tenth of what he was earning before.

The only thing that has happened to me is one of my credit cards issuing banks went under therefore the credit card was closed out. It was NOT a sub prime credit card and yes I did keep my balance under 30% (more like 10%) and yes I did pay it in full every single month and yes it did **** up my credit by the account getting closed.

Negatively affected. I'm a casual worker who's now getting less work and all-over-the-place hours. I can't do my favorite thing much anymore (shopping!). I'm generally down in the dumps about the whold thing.
